Yurchenko 1/1 - stuck it with nice body control and twisting in the air - piked down a bit.

Yurchenko 1/1 - nice body control in flight - went in a little flat once again.

Yurchenko 1/1 - piked down, bent knees in flight and leg separation, limited distance from table.

Yurchenko 1/1 - great form in the air, one step back - judges perhaps hit her extra hard for piking it down and achieving limited distance from table on landing.

Yurchenko 1/1 - landed chest high, stuck. Even the Geogia head coach was baffled by this score.

Yurchenko 1/1 - also landed chest high but small shuffle step back was deducted harshly.

Solid routine but not her best - rotation was not as smooth and well-paced as we have seen from her - very nice position in the air though on her Gienger release and the double tuck dismount required a step to balance the landing. |

Really went for the vertical handstands this week and another effortless pike Jaeger was applauded by the crowd - just missed sticking the double front dismount.

Replaced the new pike Jaeger with her old straddle Jaeger to spare the sore back this week as she returned to the bars line-up - stuck the full in dismount but chest was down a bit as she sought the control of the landing. Handstands and overall pacing of this routine was much more confident than last year.

Had some problems with pirouetting on top of the bar again this week but she showed masterful control of her body as it started to arch over and completed the routine without a break, including a very nice Tkatchev release and a double layout dismount. |

Handstands were much improved this week and the score reflects it - beautiful Tkatchev and she stuck the Comaneci dismount with very nice form enroute. A crowd pleaser.

Fantastic routine - cannot say enough about how much improvement Kassi has made in her overall form, extension, and the smooth pacing of this routine - huge Hindorff release, very nice, stuck double layout dismount, nice pirouetting in between with handstands on top of the bar.

Deducted for the balance check on the front aerial and the dismount of a bhs to gainer full twist had small hop on landing.

Well-controlled, confident set - side Somi had just a little balance wave of arm - small shuffle on the double twist dismount.

Fell on the second element of her flight series (layout step-out); rest of routine was pretty solid with tiny balance check here and there - nice dismount of the bhs to two-footed bhs to double twist.

One of her better routines - flight series of front aerial to bhs to layout step-out had improved form and control this week; switch leap to wolf was a little tentative - wolf front aerial to flutter jump was nice - dismounted with a double pike, stuck the landing with a huge smile for extra emphasis.

Balance check on the flight series and a hop on the 1 1/2 dismount cost her the higher score.. Rest of the routine was executed with her usual confidence.

6 Morgan Dennis

A little tentative this week in the anchor spot - flight series consisted of only one layout step-out; dismount cost her the critical tenths, as she bounded forward on the double tuck landing towards the beam.

Opening double pike could have been executed with more control on landing but the rest of her passes were solid: front-front full twist to front layout, ending with a strong double tuck. Very nice presentation to the home crowd.

Solid execution of the double pike, round off to whip 1/2 to whip full and ending with a punch front layout to immediate Rudi (nice finish on this difficult combination).

Great routine going through first two passes (high double pike, front-front full-front layout) but she was really going for the stick on the last pass of a double tuck and under-rotated to the point of sitting it almost completely down (just saved it). As a result, she had to be heavily deducted for the execution error and the start value was reduced as well.

Went in a little flat on the opening pike full-in and had to step forward on landing but rest of routine was beautiful - 2 1/2 to punch layout, finished with a terrific double pike. Great dance and expression throughout.

Despite nailing every pass with great control (2 1/2 to punch front, double tuck, closed with a double pike) and throwing a cat leap double to cat leap 1 1/2, Kassi could not garner a higher score from the judges. The only thing we could see that was missing would be more sassy smiling to go along with the sassy dance moves.

Great routine. No one executes the double layout better than Morgan - she actually gains height on the second salto. Sassy dance and very nice presentation overall.
